ALL-STAR CHEER 2025/2026 SPONSORS!
The All-Star Cheer program is a competitive cheerleading sport that emphasizes teamwork, athleticism, and performance. It is designed for athletes of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced competitors, and differs from school-based or recreational cheer programs due to its higher level of commitment, training, and competition.
Focus on Performance
Unlike traditional cheerleading, which primarily supports sports teams, All-Star cheerleading is centered entirely on performance. Teams showcase highly choreographed routines that combine stunts, tumbling, jumps, and dance to create an engaging and dynamic presentation.
Levels of Competition
All-Star cheerleaders compete across multiple levels, typically ranging from Level 1 (beginner) to Level 6 and beyond (advanced). Each level increases in difficulty, incorporating more advanced tumbling, stunts, pyramids, and choreography. MTG is currently in its inaugural year of All-Star cheer and competes at Level 2. As the program grows, we plan to expand into additional levels in future seasons.
Team Structure
Teams are organized by both age and skill level, with divisions such as Mini, Youth, Junior, and Senior. Each team trains consistently and competes in regional, national, and potentially international competitions.
Commitment
All-Star cheer requires a strong commitment from athletes. Participants typically train multiple times per week and attend competitions throughout the season. The program fosters personal growth, teamwork, discipline, and perseverance.
Practice Schedule
Athletes participate in two 2-hour team practices each week, along with an additional 1-hour tumbling class outside of regular team practice.
